Fragment Gallery is delighted to present a solo exhibition by Saint Petersburg–born, London-based artist Dagnini during Limassol Art Walks 2025. “Business as Usual” showcases her new works on our escalating dependence on AI tools such as ChatGPT, exposing how easily we outsource thought while fueling corporate extraction of resources and data. Using found antique tapestries embroidered with text, she transforms relics into physical memes—objects whose meaning shifts with a few added words. These utilitarian yet decorative pieces of the past—chaise longues, dividers, pillows—evoke a privileged household, staged against wallpaper fragments of disaster. Both humorous and unsettling, the exhibition reflects on distraction, loneliness, and the quiet banality of an ending world masked by convenience.
Dagnini is a Saint Petersburg-born, London-based artist. She has exhibited at various international venues, including Fragment Gallery (New York, USA), Smallville Space (Neuchatel, Switzerland), NADA House 2021 (New York, Governors Island), Garage Museum (Moscow, Russia), and the State Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg, Russia), among others.
